HTS repression | Three activists arrested in five days in Idlib and Aleppo countryside

Reliable sources have reported that a group of HTS security services arrested a media activist from Darat Izza city in the western countryside of Aleppo three days ago, while he was returning from his work in Idlib to his house in Darat Izza for unknown reasons. It is worth noting that the activist works for a Turkish-backed civil organization. The activist also designs websites and works as a photographer for some local organizations. This man worked previously as a media activist in the Local Council of Darat Izza city.

 

On April 8, HTS arrested a revolutionary activist who had been an opposition fighter, as he was arrested from his house in Ma’rata village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib. According to local sources, the activist was arrested after he refused to go to HTS court which summoned him for “insulting ALLAH”.

 

While on April 5, reliable sources reported that a security group of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested a media activist in Al-Anadoul camp in Kafr Lusin area on the Syria border with Iskenderun region in northern Idlib for unknown reasons. It is worth noting that the media activist is from Kafr Nabudah town in the northern countryside of Hama.
