For her frequent shouting at night | Little girl killed by her stepfather and her mother in Turkish-backed areas in countryside of Afrin

Aleppo governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that a man, in partnership with his wife, killed a two-year-old girl, the daughter of the wife, because of her repeated shouting at night in the town of Jandiras in the countryside of Afrin, north-west of Aleppo, within the areas held by Turkish forces and proxy factions.

The civil police issued a statement, a copy of which was obtained by the Syrian Observatory: We were informed that a family buried a little girl at 6 am in a hurry and on the same day we have contacted with the civil police were in Jandiras and informed them about the incident.

Therefore, on April 4, 2021, and at order of the Attorney General of Jandiras, the grave was exhumed in the presence of the forensic and medical examiner in Jandiras and the body of a two-years-old girl was exhumed with bruises in the head.

The body was transferred to forensic medicine in Afrin, and the police in Jandiras took the necessary measures and arrested both her mother and her stepfather and they confessed to the crime, in which he and his wife killed the child for repeated shouting at night. The woman and her husband were referred to the competent judiciary to get their fair punishment.”
