Violations by “National Army” in Afrin | Turkish-backed factions arrest two women

The grave violations by the “National Army” factions continue against the residents in the city of Afrin and its neighbourhoods, north-west of Aleppo.

SOHR sources say that armed members of Turkish-backed factions arrested two women, one of whom are elderly, after storming their homes in Jandiras district in Afrin countryside. The reasons and motives for the arrest remained unknown to date.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that members of the “Al-Sham Corps” faction arrested three civilians from the al-Bassouta area in Afrin countryside, in the last few days, and they were taken to the faction’s headquarters in the area. No information has been reported on the reasons for the arrest so far, and a fourth person was arrested and later released.
