Coronavirus in areas held by”Self-Administration” | Hospitals are full amid catastrophic medical conditions, and SOHR appeals to international organizations to help civilians

SOHR sources from the north-eastern region of Syria in the areas held by the “Self-Administration”, say that the whole region is experiencing catastrophic situations regarding the outbreak of coronavirus in various cities, towns and villages, as thousands of daily confirmed cases are recorded, while the majority of hospitals are full and their inability to receive these numbers of infected cases.

Medical sources have confirmed to SOHR that the cause of this outbreak is the new UK variant that arrived in the region. This comes in light of a catastrophic medical situation and lack of assistance by international organizations in the region.

SOHR, therefore, appeals to the organizations concerned to provide urgent support to the health sector in north-eastern Syria and all areas in Syria to save civilians.
