Routine Patrol | US forces tour areas near Syria-Turkey border in NE Syria

Al-Hasakah Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported seeing US forces running a patrol of four armoured vehicles near the Syria-Turkey border in north-east Syria region. The patrol set off from Robariya base and roamed in Ein Dewar village and its surrounding areas as well as other areas in Al-Hasakah province. The patrol was escorted by two helicopters flying over the area, and firing flares near the Turkish border. SOHR activists have also reported the fall of black objects from the two helicopters on Al-Malikiyah city (Dayrik).

 

On April 13, SOHR activists reported seeing US forces running a routine patrol of four armoured vehicles in Ain Diwar village and other areas in Al-Malikiyah countryside (Dayrik) in north-east Syria region, near the Syria-Turkey border. It is worth noting that the members of the patrol meet with residents in the area, before they returned to “Robariya Al-Zira’i” airbase.
