New murder | Man kills his wife in al-Sweida, and clashes with police officers as they try to arrest him

Al-Sweida Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists have reported a new crime of domestic violence in the province of al-Sweida in southern Syria yesterday, as a man killed his wife by shooting her inside their house near the civil prison in the city of al-Sweida.

According to SOHR sources, the civilian police tried to arrest the husband, but he opened fire on the patrol members, in an attempt to escape, without being able to do so. The patrol members managed to arrest him, with the help of his relatives.

It is worth noting that the killer is wanted under numerous search warrants, including drug abuse and promotion.
