Security chaos in Turkish-controlled areas | Young man found dead in Ras Al-Ain countryside

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: As the unstable security is escalating in areas under the control of Turkish forces and factions of the “National Army”. A young man was found dead in Makhtalah village in Ras Al-Ain countryside (Sere Kaniye) in rural Al-Hasakah. However, the identities of the murderers remained unknown.

 

Yesterday, sources in the city of Ras Al Ain (Sere Kaniye) in “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside informed the Syrian observatory of Human Rights that Turkish forces and the Military Police arrested dozens of members of “al-Sultan Murad, Al-Hamza Division and Ahrar al-Sharqiyah” factions after fierce infighting in the city of Ras Al Ain, in the few past days. Meanwhile, the city of Ras al-Ain witnessed a complete curfew, along with continued security campaign and deployment of Turkish forces throughout the city’s neighbourhoods.
