To exert pressure on Asaish forces to stop their attack | “National Defense” targets residential neighbourhoods, and deploys snipers on buildings in al-Qamishli

Al-Hasakah governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that the “National Defense Forces” have deliberately targeted civilian areas and residential neighbourhoods, as they targeted with several mortars a residential area on Al-Masarif Street, south of al-Qamishli, to exert pressure on the “Asaish” forces and force them to stop their attack and withdraw from the positions to which they advanced.

Meanwhile, sporadic clashes continue between “Asaish” and “National Defense” in the neighbourhoods of al-Qamishli city, amid preparations by both sides, as “National Defense” forces deployed snipers on the roofs of mosques, schools and high buildings in the Tay and Zanoud neighbourhoods in Al-Qamishli city in al-Hasakah countryside.
