Regime repression | Three people from eastern Ghouta arrested at checkpoint of 4th Division, while attempting to cross to rebel-held areas

Reliable sources have told SOHR that members of the 4th Division stationed at a checkpoint in Al-Ramousah area in the suburbs of Aleppo city have arrested three young men from eastern Ghouta, while attempting to flee to areas under the control of opposition factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo. According to SOHR sources, the three young men are from Saqba and Harasta areas. The arrested people’s families have reported that the three were taken to “al-Khateeb 251 Branch” in the capital, Damascus.

It is worth noting that the departure of young people from regime-held areas to areas under the control of opposition factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo has been noticeably increased, particularly the areas which have experienced battles and conflicts during the “Syrian Revolution”, as these people flee from the regime tight security measures, repression, mandatory conscription and poor living conditions throughout regime-held areas.
