Al-Hasakah | Regime forces close “National Defense” headquarters in al-Qamishli neighbourhood, and relocate members to the countryside

Al-Hasakah governorate: Syrian Observatory activists in al-Qamishli city have monitored the closure of the “National Defense” headquarters near Tartab Regiment and Zanoud district in al-Qamishli, where they were relocated to the countryside under the control of regime forces, south of al-Qamishli.

This comes after a meeting at Al-Qamishli airport between representatives of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces “Asaish” on the one hand, and the Russians and representatives of the regime forces on the other in order to finalize the agreement.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, an outpost may be set up in al-Tay neighbourhood run by the regime’s police forces, and the presence of the Military Security detachment in the neighbourhood as well.

This comes as residents of Tay neighbourhood began to return to their homes, where the Asaish started to allow them to enter in batches, after they forced to flee their homes due to the bloody events in the last few days.
