Al-Darbasiyyah | Al-Shaab Council asks residents to pay “Zakat al-Fitr” to Kurdish Red Crescent

SOHR activists have reported seeing vehicles with loudspeakers affiliated to the SDF-backed al-Shaab Council roaming in al-Darbasiyyah city, where they called upon the residents to deliver “Zakat al-Fitr” (a charity taken for the poor a few days before the end of fasting in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan) to the Kurdish Red Crescent.

According to SOHR sources, al-Shaab Council has called upon the residents to head to the tent established recently by the Kurdish Red Crescent to pay “zakat”, as there are several coronavirus infections who need urgent assistance and have no money to get the needed medicine.
