Afrin | Car affiliated to “Sultn Murad” faction explodes, while engineering teams detonate car-bomb

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported the explosion of a military car affiliated to the Turkish-backed faction of “Sultn Murad” in Halloubi al-Sagheer village in Afrin countryside in the north-west of Aleppo. The explosion burned down the car, but no casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, no confirmed information has been reported about the reason behind the explosion if it was caused by the explosion of a grenade by mistake or the car was targeted with an IED.

 

On the other hand, the engineering teams have remotely detonated a car-bomb set to be blown up in Afrin canton.

 

Separately, reliable sources have told SOHR that the armed group, which assassinated two Turkish-backed militiamen, a few hours ago, in Jarabulus city in north-eastern Aleppo, included a member of Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement.

 

On April 24, SOHR activists said that unidentified individuals in a car threw a grenade at a group of civilians near the “Nowruz” roundabout in Afrin city. the explosion injured a little girl seriously and she was taken to the hospital.

 

This development came in light of the security chaos in areas held by Turkish-backed factions.
