“De-escalation zone” | Top regime officer killed in exchange of fire with rebels in Idlib

SOHR activists have documented the death of a top regime officer in exchange of artillery and machinegun fire between regime forces and opposition factions on the frontlines of Idlib countryside in the past few hours. It is worth noting that the officer was from Jablah countryside in the Syrian coastline.

 

SOHR sources in the “de-escalation zone” have just reported exchange of rocket fire, in the early hours of Thursday morning, between regime forces and opposition factions on frontlines in Jabal al-Zawiyah. Meanwhile, factions of “al-Fath al-Mubin” operations room fired several artillery shells on regime positions on Jadariyah frontline in the western countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources in the “de-escalation zone” reported rocket fire by regime forces stationed in the western countryside of Aleppo, which targeted frontlines with opposition factions in Maarrat al-Na’saan area in the far northern region of Idlib countryside, near the administrative border with the western countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
