Security tension | Fire shots between Asayish patrol and members of Al-Bosariya clan in al-Raqqah city

Al-Raqqah province: SOHR activists have reported that a patrol of Internal Security Forces “Asayish” supported by Counter-Terrorism Special Units “H.A.T” stormed the houses of people wanted for criminal cases of  Al-Bosariya clan near Tel Abyad street in the city of al-Raqqah, which led to clashes with light weapons between Asayish and H.A.T members on one hand, and armed men of Al-Bosariya tribe on the other. Meanwhile, the city of al-Raqqah has been witnessing security tension since Asayish managed to arrest some members of Al-Bosariya tribe. This development came after armed infighting between Al-Bosariya and Al-Sukhnah tribes in the city of al-Raqqah a few days ago, which resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides, in addition to damage to civilian property due to the armed fighting, beside the existence of lawsuits against members of the two clans.

On April 24, SOHR reliable sources reported that fierce clashes erupted between Al-Bosariya and Al-Sukhnah tribes in Tel Abyad street in al-Raqqah city centre, which is under the control of SDF and International Coalition. According to SOHR sources in the city, over ten people on both side were injured in these clashes, amid confirmed reported of fatalities.
