Turkish-backed factions violations | Civilian killed in Aleppo countryside for resisting seizure of his land

Aleppo province: A civilian was killed and others were injured in the village of Al-Burj, which is administratively part of Al-Bab city east of Aleppo, while resisting members of pro-Turkey factions who attacked his land.

According to SOHR activists, members of “Haji Bakri” group of Turkish-backed “National Army” tried to seize a plot of land belonging to the victim by force in order to build a house, which led to the killing of the land owner by pro-Turkey factions and the injury of two others seriously, as they were taken to Turkey for treatment.

It is worth noting that al-Burj village is inhabited by Syrian Kurds. Furthermore, local sources have confirmed that the Turkish-backed factions had arrested the brother of the victim because he refused to allow the factions to enter his land and take it over.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported clashes with machineguns, in the village of Al-Burj, in the areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions in the countryside of Aleppo, after shepherds looted crops in the village.

It is worth noting that proliferation of individual weapons has increased throughout Syria, along with deteriorating security, especially the areas held by pro-Turkey factions.
