Ceasefire violations | Regime forces target positions in Jabal al-Zawiyah and frontlines of Sahl al-Ghab

Syrian Observatory activists say that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Monday morning, targeting positions in Sfuhen and its surrounding areas, al-Bara and its surrounding areas, Fulayfel and Bayanin in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported. Regime forces also attacked, with heavy machineguns, frontlines with opposition factions in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.

On April 30, SOHR sources said that a member of the pro-Turkish “al-Sham Corps” was shot dead by regime forces, while he was on frontline of the town of al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib. Meanwhile, an HTS member was also shot dead by a regime sniper on frontline of the village of Afis, north of Saraqeb in Idlib countryside. Moreover, the jihadist faction “Ansar al-Islam” fired several rockets on regime positions on al-Burkan hill, al-Bahssa and Foro in Jabal al-Akrad, north of Latakia. No casualties were reported.
