Daily death toll | 11 people killed across Syria yesterday

Two children were killed in the explosion of an old landmine in the regime-held village of Hatla in the north-eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

Two Turkish-backed militiamen were killed in an armed attack by unknown assailants on a checkpoint of a faction operating under the banner of the Turkish-backed “National Army” in Sharran district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo.

 

Two jihadists and a civilian woman were killed in an explosion near al-Furousiyyah refugee camp in al-Fu’ah area in the north-east of Idlib, which was caused by an explosion in a warehouse belonging to jihadi groups, where shells and IEDs are manufactured.

 

Two members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed after regime forces fired a guided missile on their car on Barnas frontline in the north of al-Tuffahiyyah area in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia.

A retired colonel of Air-Force Intelligence service was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Qarqas town in al-Quneitra countryside near the occupied Syrian Golan. According to SOHR sources the ex-colonel was from Jasim city in the eastern countryside of Daraa, and he had strong ties with the regime security branches.

 

A member of the Customs service’s patrol was killed in clashes with smugglers. The clashes erupted when the patrol attempted to stop the smugglers’ vehicle near al-Nour petrol station near Homs-Tartus highway.
