Security mobilization | HTS storms houses in Jisr al-Shughour countryside arresting two Moroccan jihadists

Idlib province: Members of security service of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) stormed houses in the village of Al-Yaqoubiya in the northern countryside of Jisr al-Shughour, west of Idlib, and arrested two Moroccan members of “Hurras al-Din” faction, and took them to its security centers in the region. This development coincided with a security alert in the region.

On May 2, SOHR sources have reported that a security group of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham stormed the house of a man in Kafr Lata village in Idlib countryside, arresting a man and his son for unknown reasons.

On April 30, SOHR activists reported that HTS security service arrested two members of the jihadist organization “Hurras al-Din”, while they were in the market of the city of Ma’arat Misreen in the northern countryside of Idlib, as Abu Mohammad al-Julani the leader of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham continued his efforts to promote himself as a “counter of terrorism” in HTS-held areas.
