Aleppo Province: Syrian Observatory sources say that Turkish forces renewed their bombardment on Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, as Turkish artillery fire hit positions in Baylouniyyah, Sheikh Issa and Ain Daqnah, in “al-Shahbaa” region. The bombardment caused material damage only.
Yesterday, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that Turkish rocket attacks hit positions in Sheikh Issa, Ain Daqnah, Menagh and the surrounding areas of Tel Rifaat in areas under the control of Kurdish forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
On May 4, SOHR sources reported renewed bombardment by Turkish forces, in the early morning, on Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, as several shells hit positions in Mar’anaz and surrounding areas. While on Sunday, Turkish forces stationed in the military base on the outskirts of the city of Mare’ bombarded, with heavy artillery, the villages of Harbal, Sheikh Issa and Sheikh Hilal which are held by Kurdish forces in the north of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
