Security campaign | SDF arrest four members of ISIS cells in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: Reliable sources have told SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces arrested four members of ISIS cells in al-Zarr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, as a part of the ongoing security campaign by SDF, backed by International Coalition Forces.

On the other hand, SDF confiscated agricultural equipment prepared for being smuggled to regime-held areas, after storming al-Shuhayl river crossing, while Coalition aircraft was seen flying over the region.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) launched a security campaign, supported by helicopters of the International Coalition, in the village of al-Zarr in the countryside of Deir Ezzor. Meanwhile, SDF members stayed in the village, but no reports of the campaign’s outcomes.

On the other hand, SDF announced through loudspeakers the ban on motorcycle in the city of al-Busayrah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, from Saturday morning until further notice. SDF checkpoints confiscated dozens of motorcycles, before returning them to their owners and informing them of the ban.

A day earlier, SOHR activists reported a new assassination, in which unidentified gunmen shot dead an SDF leader in front of his house in the town of Theban in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
