Deir Ezzor | Explosion targets bus carrying members of NDF

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported that an IED exploded in a bus carrying a group of “National Defense Forces” (NDF) near the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, wounding three members, one of them seriously.

As the “Islamic State” organization has stepped up its activities throughout the Syrian desert, despite the counter operations and security campaigns by regime forces and their proxy militias to put an end to ISIS operations, including attacks, ambushes, planting of bombs. IEDs and mines, SOHR activists have documented the death of seven members of regime forces and their proxy militants, in the explosion of at least two mines which targeted a military group in Jabal al-Amour area, to the west of the al-Sukhnah area in the eastern desert of Homs. Meanwhile, the death toll is expected to rise, as the attack left more 18 others injured, some seriously.
