Regime-controlled areas

 

-SOHR activists have documented the death of seven members of regime forces and their proxy militants, in the explosion of at least two mines which targeted a military group in Jabal al-Amour area, to the west of the al-Sukhnah area in the eastern desert of Homs. Meanwhile, the death toll is expected to rise, as the attack left more 18 others injured, some seriously.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported that an IED exploded in a bus carrying a group of “National Defense Forces” (NDF) near the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, wounding three members, one of them seriously.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists, from the southern region of Syria, have reported that an Israeli helicopter struck a place where a person working for the Lebanese Hezbollah was in, near Ein al-Tineh, west of Hadar, in the Syrian Golan. The man was taken to the hospital in al-Quneitra after he was wounded. According to sources, the targeted person is from the occupied town of Majdal Shams, and resides in the town of Hadar. It is worth noting that the targeted man’s father had detained in the Israeli prisons, and his two brothers were killed in previous battles against the opposition factions in the northern countryside of al-Quneitra.

 

-The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have reported violent clashes in the eastern countryside of Hama, between regime forces and their proxy militants on one side, and ISIS members on the other. The clashes, which lasted from last night to this morning, concentrated in the vicinity of Bayoud in the countryside of al-Rahjan and left four pro-regime militants dead, while ISIS lost at least one member. A civilian from the region’s tribes was also killed after being hit with an indiscriminate gunshot.

 

-In Daraa, SOHR activists have documented the death of a civilian after being shot by unknown gunmen, while he was going to his farm on the road between Daraa city and Naseeb in Daraa countryside. It is worth noting that the attackers have stolen the victims properties and money, while SOHR sources have confirmed that the victim has not affiliated to any military formation.

 

-While an official of Baath Party was killed in the town of al-Sahwa in the eastern countryside of Daraa by unknown gunmen in the early morning. The Syrian Observatory activists also reported that a former fighter of the rebel factions, who had struck a reconciliation deal with regime and joined the “Fourth Division”,  was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the town of Tel Shehab in the western countryside of Daraa. The incidents coincides with the significant escalation of killings throughout Daraa governorate.

 

-SOHR sources have documented the death of a young man from al-Asharah city in eastern Deir Ezzor under torture in regime prison. It is worth noting that the young man, who was a member of the opposition faction of “Basha’er al-Nasr”, was arrested in Qalamoun area in Rif Dimashq nearly five years ago.

 

 

In SDF-held areas

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported the explosion of an IED while a military vehicle of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) was passing near a petrol station in the town of Al-Shuhayl in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, but no casualties have been reported.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists in Deir Ezzor have reported that Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the International Coalition aircraft, stormed several houses in the village of al-Hawayij in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor last night, arresting at least one person, but the reasons behind the security campaign have been unknown.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists in Ain Issa in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah, have reported that unidentified  gunmen shot dead a member of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), while he was in front of a barber shop.

 

-SOHR activists have reported seeing US forces running a patrol in Tel Tamr town in al-Hasakah countryside, as five armoured vehicles toured the town and stopped at the town’s entrance, before it returned to the US base in the region. It is worth noting that this patrol comes after cessation of US military patrols in Tel Tamr for a long time.

 

 

Areas under the control of Turkish-backed factions and areas held by Kurdish forces and SDF in Aleppo

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists in the eastern countryside of Aleppo reported an IED explosion, this morning, in a car near a mosque in the city of al-Bab, which caused material damage only. It is worth noting that the area is under the control of the Turkish forces and the “Euphrates Shield” factions.

 

-SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled villages in Ain Daqnah, Baylouniyah and other positions in Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo. No further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by this bombardment.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported exchange of fire with heavy and medium machineguns,  in the early hours of Monday morning , between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces on Hazwan frontline in the countryside of al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

-SOHR activists have documented the death of a civilian from Um al-Housh village of Azaz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, after the explosion of an old landmine near by the village.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in the east of the city of Ain al-Arab (Kobani). The joint patrol of four Russian and four Turkish armoured vehicles set off from the border village of Gharib and toured border villages east of Ain al-Arab (Kobani) before it returned to its starting point. It is worth noting that the patrol was escorted by two Russian helicopters.

 

 

“Peace Spring” areas

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported an IED explosion in a vegetable market in the town of Sluk in the northern countryside of al-Raqqah, which caused material damage only.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have documented the death of a Syrian little girl, after a Turkish armoured vehicle ran over her in al-Nayrab area in east Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, the armoured vehicle did not stop to relief the girl who died immediately.

 

-A fire ignited this evening in al-Amal camp near Hazarah town in areas under the control of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in northern Idlib. The fire resulted in the death of two women and a child. According to local sources, the fire, ignited after the explosion of a gas cylinder, also devoured several tents, which caused material damage to properties in these tents and left their inhabitants in the open.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists in the “De-escalation zone” have reported a rocket attack by the factions of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operation room in the early hors of Monday morning, which targeted positions of regime forces and their proxies in the villages of Al-Jarada and Hantoutin in the southern sector of Idlib countryside. On the other hand, regime forces fired artillery shells on towns and villages controlled by rebel factions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and targeted with medium and heavy machineguns the frontlines in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama, but no casualties have been reported.
