North Aleppo | Turkish forces shell village in Kurdish-controlled areas

Aleppo province: Turkish forces fired artillery shells, today, on frontlines in the village of Maraanaz, in Kurdish-held areas in the countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that fires broke out in agricultural crops on the outskirts of the village of Um Hawash, in areas controlled by Kurdish forces in the north of Aleppo, after the crops were targeted by incendiary bullets by members of factions affiliated to the Turkish-backed National Army.

On May 12, SOHR sources reported that members of al-Sham Corps of the National Army set fire to olive fields around Barrad village of Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo, where the arsons expanded to large spaced on the village’s outskirts.
