Al-Julani’s promotional campaign of “countering terrorism” | HTS arrests two members of “Hurras al-Din” in Idlib countryside

Idlib province: SOHR sources have reported that a military force of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham has arrested two members of the jihadi organization of “Hurras al-Din” after storming their position in al-Fu’ah town in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, HTS members were seen on high alert.

 

This development comes in light of the efforts by Abu Mohammad al-Julani the leader of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham to promote himself and HTS as “counters of terrorism”.

 

On May 6, members of security service of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) stormed houses in the village of Al-Yaqoubiya in the northern countryside of Jisr al-Shughour, west of Idlib, where they arrested two Moroccan members of “Hurras al-Din” organization. This development coincided with a security alert in the region.

 

While on May 3, SOHR sources reported that a security group of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham stormed the house of a man in Kafr Lata village in Idlib countryside, arresting a man and his son for unknown reasons.
