Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a little girl from Kashkash village affected by the injure she had a few days ago. The girl was hit with an indiscriminate gunshot when members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) were attempting to disperse protestors who staged a demonstration in Qana village in southern al-Hasakah on May 18, demanding the revocation of a decision to increase the fuel prices in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

On May 19, SOHR sources reported that the joint presidency of the executive council issued a statement, revoking the decision No. 119 regarding the increase in fuel prices.
