Autonomous Administration of north and east Syria decides shut its crossings with Syrian regime

Autonomous Administration of north and east Syria announced, in an official statement, shutting all the crossings between its areas and the regime-controlled areas until further notice.

The statement read, “all the border crossings between the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian government as of today at 7 pm until future notice. Whoever should carry on the decision should be notified.”

SOHR, on March 22, reported that the regime forces, the military intelligence forces in particular, closed al-Tabaqa crossing between its area of influence and SDF- backed areas in Raqqa province ultimately.

Though the crossing was closed five days earlier, the regime forces opened its sometimes to all the passage of the humanitarian cases, the students. But today, it prevented anyone or any military machines to come in or out due to the Russian-Iranian conflicts that were manifested in the Russian intention to supervise the oil ferries coming from SDF areas, which was rejected by the 4th Division-backed the Iranian wing.
