IED attack | Explosion injures two in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported hearing an explosion in Afrin city, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in north Aleppo countryside, caused by the detonation of an IED planted in a car on Raju road in Afrin. The explosion injured two people.

It is worth noting that security chaos is escalating in the areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies. On May 19, SOHR sources reported that an IED exploded in a car near Memo restaurant in the city of Jarabulus, east of Aleppo, but no casualties were reported. Meanwhile, a person was wounded after a grenade exploded near al-Nayrouz roundabout in Afrin city in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
