Death toll update | Civilian dies of wounds and five others injured in Afrin’s explosion

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a displaced man from Aleppo city affected by the injuries he had in the IED explosion which hit Afrin city this evening. The explosion also resulted in the injury of five other people at least.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported hearing an explosion in Afrin city, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in north Aleppo countryside, caused by the detonation of an IED planted in a car on Raju road in Afrin. The explosion injured two people.

It is worth noting that security chaos is escalating in the areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies. On May 19, SOHR sources reported that an IED exploded in a car near Memo restaurant in the city of Jarabulus, east of Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.
