After making a video supporting al-Assad | HTS arrests a person in Salqin city

Idlib province: SOHR activists in areas under the control of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and opposition factions in Idlib have reported that HTS security services have arrested a man from Salqin city near the Syria border with Iskenderun region in north-west Idlib, as he posted a video he made, supporting Bashar al-Assad and praising his achievements in the presidential election.

 

Earlier this morning, SOHR sources monitored mass protests, including dozens of displaced and migrants in Kafr Lusin crossing on Iskenderun border northern Idlib, have been erupted in rejection for the Syrian presidential elections. The protesters also demanded the return of the displaced to their homes in the cities, towns, and villages that became under the control of the Syrian regime.

 

On May 26, SOHR activists reported large protests in the square of al-Zabaa Bahrat in Idlib city, for the residents and inhabitants of the area. The demonstrations included hundreds of displaced people from all the Syrian provinces who protested to express their rejection of the presidential elections show. They chanted slogans for ousting the Syrian regime and President al-Assad. The protesters stressed the principles and determinants of the Syrian revolution and demanded the release of the detainees from the regime security prisons.
