Syrian Observatory activists in areas under the control of regime forces have reported that hundreds of people sustained various injuries due to the indiscriminate and intensive gunfire by regime’s loyalists in all provinces during celebrations of al-Assad’s “victory” in the “farcical show” of presidential election. SOHR activists managed to verify the injury of 317 people in this indiscriminate gunfire, some of whom sustained serious injuries. SOHR would like to point out that the number of injured people may be higher, as many other cases have not been verified.
