Regime repression | Security services arrest four civilians struck reconciliation deals at makeshift checkpoint in Daraa countryside

Daraa province: SOHR sources have reported that regime security services arrested, yesterday evening, at least four people at a makeshift camp on the road to Kherbet Ghazala in Daraa countryside for unknown reasons. It is worth noting that the arrested people are civilians and they have struck reconciliation deals with regime security services.

On Thursday, SOHR activists reported that regime forces launched a security campaign in Da’el city in Darra countryside, arresting six persons, including a female that was released a few hours later.

The regime security campaign coincided with imposing a curfew in the city, amid fear by the residents of more arrests. These developments came after unknown persons had attacked al-Baath party’s headquarter in the city with machine guns, grenades and RPGs.

SOHR activists had reported violent clashes in Dael city in central Darra countryside, in the early hours of Thursday morning, between gunmen on one hand, and regime forces and their proxies militiamen one the other. The clashes erupted after the gunmen had attacked al-Baath parties’ headquarters with machine guns, grenades and RPGs.

Meanwhile, the clashes stopped with the sunrise and regime forces have cordoned off the region, amid reports of launching security campaigns and arrests.

On the other hand, unknown gunmen have attacked, with machine guns and RPGs, a military security checkpoint at Saiyda-al-Ghariyah al-Gharbiyyah road in eastern Darra countryside.
