Turkish-backed factions’ violations | For nearly two months, “Samarqand Brigade” keeps in prison a village mayor in rural Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists, in the Turkish forces-controlled and the National Army factions’ areas in Aleppo countryside, have reported that Samarqand Brigade has kept the mayor of al-Haj Qasemah village, in the neighborhood of Ma’batli in Afrin countryside northwest Aleppo, in its prisons for nearly two months. Reasons for arresting the man remained unknown till now.
Yesterday, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists reported that “Al-Sham Corp” stormed civilians’ homes in Basota town in Sherawa district in Afrin countryside few days ago, during which nine people from the town were arrested for “previous dealing with Autonomous Administration during its control on the region”.
