Aleppo | Explosive experts found and exploded booby-trapped car in Afrin

Aleppo province: Explosive experts in Afrin neighborhood in northwest Aleppo countryside have found a booby-trapped car at Gandrees new highway that is known as al-Mazout street, and have detonated it in a place that is located 300 m away from the Turkish case stationed in Faysal Qadour schools at Gandrees road but no casualties have been reported 

Yesterday, SOHR activists in Afrin neighborhood northwestern Aleppo monitored military build-ups by Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement and Suleiman Shah brigade (al-Amshat), along with growing tension between both sides in Sheikh al-Hadid district and nearby areas for unknown reasons. This development coincided with the explosion of a grenade thrown by unknown person at Nairouz square in Afrin downtown, but no casualties have been reported.

On May 26, SOHR activists documented the death of a displaced man from Aleppo city affected by the injuries he had in the IED explosion which hit Afrin city in the evening. The explosion also resulted in the injury of five other people at least.
