Regime repression | Security services arrest nearly ten people from eastern Qalamoun and eastern Ghouta

Rif Dimashq province: Reliable sources have told SOHR that members of a security patrol of nearly ten vehicles stormed civilians’ houses in al-Ruhaybah city in eastern Qalamoun in Rif Dimashq, arresting five people and took them to regime prison in Damascus for unknown reasons.

On the other hand, SOHR activists say that members of a patrol of the military security service have stormed civilians’ houses nearby al-Tawbah mosque in Zamalka city in eastern Ghouta, the major stronghold of al-Rahman Corps during its control of eastern Ghouta, arresting four people, including an old man, for unknown reasons.

On May 13, SOHR activists reported that regime security services arrested five brothers after storming a farm they live in, in the area between Wadi Ain Terma and Wadi Kafrbanta in eastern Ghouta five days ago. According to SOHR sources, these brothers were arrested after accusations of “hiding some members of opposition factions during their control of eastern Ghouta and giving them information that helped in attacking and later controlling Dohkania area in eastern Damascus in September 2014, especially since the defendants’ farms is overlooking the road between al-Maliha and Jaramana at the opposite side of the Dohkania.
