Aleppo | Clashes erupt between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions
Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported clashes in the early hours of Thursday between factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” and Kurdish forces deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The clashes, which coincided with exchange of heavy machinegun fire, took place on the frontlines of Mar’anaz.
Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxies bombarded, with heavy artillery, the villages of Abeen and Ka’shtar in the neighborhood of Sherawa in Afrin countryside, Tatamroush villages and the surrounding areas of Tel Refaat in Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.
