Two separate patrols | Russian and US forces tour villages in al-Malikiyah (Dayrik), along with flights by Russian and Coalition helicopters

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that the US and Russian forces have conducted two separate patrols in al-Malikiyah countryside (Dayrik) in north-east Syria region. The two patrols toured the villages of Ain Diwar, Qasr Deeb, Kardamiyyah and Kasan, near the Syria-Turkey border. It is worth noting that each patrol was escorted with helicopters. Meanwhile, US forces have deployed armoured “Bradley” vehicles and other military vehicles in Karziyar Atjouli village along the main road to al-Malikiyyah.

On June 2, SOHR sources reported seeing Russian forces running a patrol of three armoured vehicles in the villages and towns of Karmiyyah, Ain Diwar, Qasr Deeb, Habl Hawwa, Qadirik and Tel Dar in Al-Milikiyyah countryside (Dayrik), on the Syria-Turkey border in north-east Syria. The Russian patrol coincided with a separate routine patrol by US forces in the region. The US patrol was escorted by two helicopters.
