On June 7, 2021

Syrian Observatory activists, in the de-escalation zone, have reported intensive rocket firing by the regime forces since early morning, targeting areas in Balyon, al-Barah, al-Feterah, Fulayfel, Bayanin, Kansafrah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the surrounding areas of Qilideen and al-Zyarah in northwestern Hama countryside.

The attacks killed a fighter of the factions in Balyon in his house not at the frontlines in addition to causing material damages in other different areas.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported the death of a member of opposition factions due to regime artillery fire on Balshon village in the southern countryside of Idlib. Accordingly, the opposition factions death toll has risen to two, as SOHR had documented the death of another member in Mashon village in Jabal al-Zawiyah and the injury of a civilian in Ahsem town.

On the other hand, SOHR activists have monitored the return of cautious calm to the de-escalation zone after regime forces rained it with shells and rockets, while the factions responded by shelling regime positions in Jorin and countryside of Idlib.
