Aleppo | Russian and Turkish forces run joint patrol in Ain al-Arab city and countryside (Kobani)

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a regular joint patrol run by the Russian and the Turkish forces in western Ain al-Arab city and countryside (Kobani). The patrol was composed of eight military vehicles from the two sides escorted by two Russian helicopters from Aashma village at the border with Turkey. The joint patrol has covered the villages of Garqily, Fawqany, Genbnah, Bayadah until reaching the village of Zour Maghar on the opposite side of Garbuls at the eastern bank of the Euphrates, which is the last village in western Kobani village.
On May 31, SOHR activists reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in Ain al-Arab countryside (Kobani). The joint patrol of four Russian and four other Turkish armored vehicles set off from Ashma village to the west of Ain al-Arab and toured the villages of Jariqly Fouqani, Qarran, Dakmdash, Kharkhoury, Boban, Saftak, Joul Bek Tel Sha’eer in western Kobani. The patrol returned again to the starting point running through the villages of Sousan, Qoula, Qaraqouy Tahtani, Bayander, Mashkou and Jabnah. The patrol was escorted by two Russian helicopters.
