Afrin | Turkish forces bombarded Kurdish-held areas with above 20 rockets

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported in the early hours above 23 rocket firing by the Turkish forces on several stages. The attacks hit the outskirts of Deir Gamal, Kharbakah and al-Zyarah near Sheiro in the countryside of Afrin northwest of Aleppo within the areas under control of the Kurdish and regime forces.
On the other hand, several artillery shelling fell near the Afrin-Aleppo Road but no casualties have been reported.
Turkish forces have renewed rocket fire on the Kurdish-held areas in north Aleppo countryside. SOHR activists has reported intensive rocket firing by the Turkish force since early hours in the morning in several places in the town of Deir Gamal and the surrounding areas and other areas northern Aleppo, without information about casualties till now.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a big fire broke out in an agriculture land in Kurdish-held areas in the countryside of Aleppo due to Turkish ground bombardment with heavy artillery, which targeted the outskirt of Tatmrash and Tanbet Kashtaar villages and northern suburbs of Tel Refaat city. Turkish troops also shelled Maraanaz and Aqlamiya villages in Shara district in the countryside of Afrin where the Kurdish troops are deployed, but no casualties were reported.
On Saturday, SOHR activists have documented the death of a regime officer from al-Qardaha city, the hometown of the Syrian regime president “Bashar al-Assad”, in Turkish artillery fire on Mayyasah village of Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo, where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed.
