Security campaign | SDF kills five ISIS members in al-Hasakah city

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR reported that five members of an ISIS cell, including Iraqis, were killed in a security operation by SDF in al-Shaddadi district in al-Hasakah province. This development came hours after SDF-backed Counter-Terrorism Forces declared capturing ISIS Emir in the same area.

On June 4, SOHR sources reported that SDF-backed Counter-Terrorism Forces carried out a security campaign in Belalya village in Shaddadi district in the countryside of al-Hasakah. The security forces arrested an ISIS “Emir” (top commander) and seized his weapon, one mobile and some documents he had.
