Explosion | After finding body of former fighter, explosion targeted “4th Division” member in western Darra countryside

Darra province: An IED hit a car transferring a worker in line of the regime-backed “4th Division” lines in the city of al-Yadoudah in western Darra countryside. The explosion lightly wounded the man and also injured a female civilian near the site of explosion.
On Tuesday morning, SOHR reported finding a body of a former faction fighter at the road between al-Mazyryeeb and al-Yadodah cities in western Darra countryside. The dead man once served as a former fighter was among others who struck “reconciliation and settlements” deals with the regime after controlling Daraa. No information has been reported yet about the nature or conditions of his murder.
Since the beginning of the security chaos in Daraa in early June 2019, Syrian Observatory activists have documented more than 1,100 attacks and assassination attempts by gunfire and detonations of IEDs, motorcycle-bombs and car-bombs. These attacks and assassinations claimed the lives of 754 persons, categorised as follows:
• 214 civilians, including 13 women and 22 children
• 350 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services
• 134 fighters of factions that struck “reconciliation and settlements” deals with the regime and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders
• 26 Syrian militiamen affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces
• 31 members of the so-called 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
