Artillery fire | Regime forces shell perimeter of Turkish post and target Turkish vehicles in Idlib countryside

Regime troops shelled, with heavy artillery, the surrounding areas of a Turkish post in al-Bara town south of Idlib countryside, but no casualties have been reported

 

In a related context, regime troops targeted, with a guided missile, a Turkish mechanised digger while it was erecting soil barriers on the frontline of al-Qarqour village in west Hama countryside which resulted in its malfunction. Regime forces also targeted, with a second missile, a car in the same site.

 

SOHR sources had documented the death of a child and HTS member affected by injuries they had in the rockets and artillery attacks on Ablin town in Jabal al-Zawiya in the country of Idlib. While the number of casualties was expected to increase because more than 11 other people were injured, some seriously.

 

Accordingly, the number of casualties in Ablin town in southern Idlib rose to 12, and they are as follows:

 

  • Four civilians, one man, one woman and two kids.

 

  • Official spokesman of the military wing of HTS.

 

  • Media coordinating official in HTS.

 

  • Six members of HTS and Suqour al-Sham.

 

They were all killed in two attacks by regime forces with guided missile, as regime forces targeted a civil car in front of a house in Ablin town, while the second attack occurred when other fighters rushed to the site of the first attack to rescue wounded people.

 

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists had reported that Turkish forces continued targeting the regime bases in south Idlib countryside with dozens of rocket and artillery strikes. The Turkish forces from their bases around Idlib city also targeted the regime bases in the city of Saraqib and the surrounding neighborhood in eastern Idlib countryside.

 

The attacks coincided with the continuous wave of civilians in different areas of Jabal al-Zawiyah towards the more secured areas amid severe escalation hitting the region.
