Tribal fight | Member of “Military Security Supporters” killed in rural al-Qamishli

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a member of the regime-backed security service of the “Military Security Supporters” (Ansar al-Amn al-Askari) in the regime-controlled village of al-Dallawiya in the southern countryside of al-Qamishli, after being hit with a gunshot during a tribal fight between two families from the village, which erupted in early April 2021.

At that time, early April, SOHR sources reported a violent armed fight between two families in the Syrian regime-controlled village of al-Dallawiya in the southern countryside of al-Qamishli following a dispute over the possession of agricultural land in the village.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the armed fight left four members of the first family dead, while three people were killed of the other family, including two women, amid growing tension in the area.
