 “Olive Branch” areas

 

-SOHR activists have documented more fatalities in the massacre committed by regime forces stationed in al-Ziyyarah and Ibbin in the north-western countryside of Aleppo, which targeted al-Shefaa hospital in Afrin city. According to SOHR statistics, 18 people were killed as follows: a female and her baby, three female medics, a doctor, another woman, a little girl, an opposition commander, and three unidentified people. The death toll is expected to rise further as the attack left over 23 persons injured, some seriously, including women and children.

 

 

De-Escalation zone

 

-SOHR sources have reported that a civilian was killed and three others sustained various injuries in Jabal al-Arba’in area in an attack by regime forces with artillery and rocket fire on a civil car in Kafr Lata this morning. The attack also caused substantial material damage. Regime forces also targeted the wall of the Turkish military post in Maarzaf in Jabal al-Arba’in with artillery.

 

-SOHR sources have reported that opposition factions fired several rockets and artillery shells on positions of regime forces and loyalists in Kafr Nebl city and Maarrat al-Nu’man city and eastern countryside in southern Idlib. The factions also targeted military positions and headquarters and residential neighbourhoods in Jurin, Na’our Jurin, Ain al-Hamam, Ain Salimu, al-Barakah and al-Bahsah in Sahl al-Ghab in north-western Hama.

 

Russian warplanes have launched consecutive airstrikes on the eastern frontlines of Jabal al-Zawiya where the raids targeted al-Rouwaiha and the surrounding areas of Sarjeh and Mantef towns. While SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” have documented the death of a pregnant woman and the injury of eight other civilians due to the Russian airstrikes on Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib. It is worth noting that the woman was killed by the shelling on Mantaf town, while the injured people were as follow:

 

  • Seven civilians by raids on Sarjeh town.

 

  • One civilian by Russian airstrikes on Mantaf town.

 

 

Aleppo countryside

 

Turkish forces continue their intensive bombardment on the Kurdish-held areas in the northern and north-western countryside of Aleppo. Since sunset, Turkish forces launched  over 180 rockets and artillery shells on Ain Daqna, Tel Ajjar , Deir Jamal road , Kafr Naya suburbs, Kafr Antwan, Tatmarsh, Abynand, Aqbiya, the vicinity of Tel Refaat , Sadd al-Shahbaa, and several other sites in Kurdish-controlled areas, which resulted in martial damage and injured a child in Aqbiya.

 

 

Idlib

 

 Local sources have reported that Uzbek members affiliated to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham have stormed Idlib museum, damaging sculptures, statues, paintings and mosaic for unknown reasons. However, the museum’s administration of the “Salvation Government” has issued no official statement regarding these practices.

 

 

Manbij

 

Reliable sources have told SOHR that pro-regime individuals from the tribes of Bin Sa’dawi, al-Bosultan and al-Bobanna have distributed weapons to people in Manbij city and countryside.

 

According to SOHR sources, these weapons included grenades and AK-47 rifles and ammunition, as the pro-regime individuals managed to recruit over 1,000 people and divided them into groups for unknown reasons.

 

 

Regime-controlled areas

 

-SOHR activists in eastern Ghouta have confirmed that a new batch of detainees of nearly 28 people from Arbin city has been released from regime prisons, as the recently-released detainees have arrived in the city’s main square in presence of locals, regime officers and officials of al-Baath Party in eastern Ghouta. According to SOHR sources, a regime officer has told the locals that all the released detainees have not been involved in murders and that more detainees from eastern Ghouta would be released soon under an amnesty issued by the Syrian regime’s president Bashar al-Assad.

 

-SOHR activists have documented the death of two regime soldiers and the injury of a third seriously due to a landmine explosion in Jabal al-Ammour area in the eastern countryside of Homs.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that regime security services have stormed several houses in Mahajjeh town in the northern countryside of Daraa, arresting nearly ten people for unknown reasons.

 

 

“Peace Spring Zone”

 

-Reliable sources in Ras al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye), in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions, have informed the Syrian Observatory that an armed fight erupted between military groups of Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah and the military police, as the conflicting parties used heavy machineguns in residential neighbourhoods yesterday. According to SOHR, the armed fight erupted after disagreement between the two sides over smuggling people to Turkish territory, but no further details have been reported.

 

“Euphrates Shield”

 

-SOHR activists have reported that a police and state security service lieutenant was murdered when unknown armed men opened fire on him in front of his home in Jarabluus city which is under the control of pro-Turkey factions in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.
