Protesting targeting civilians and hospitals | Medics and locals stage a vigil in Idlib and the countryside of Aleppo

SOHR activists have reported that medics and some civil organizations in both cities of Idlib in Idlib province and Mare’ in the countryside of Aleppo staged a vigil this evening, protesting the repeated targeting of hospitals, especially the latest bloody attack on al-Shifaa Hospital yesterday, Saturday, in Afrin city in the countryside of Aleppo, which left dozens of casualties including medics.

The protesters raised signboards with slogans written on them, which read “the crimes of al-Assad, Iranian militias and the Russians will not stop – Putin’s crimes in Syria are a shame on the United Nations and the whole world – Oh, voiceless United Nations, your silence regarding al-Assad’s crimes makes you partners in these crimes – Putin is a killer and al-Assad is a criminal – We are united against the crimes of al-Assad and his gangs” “ Hey, coward world, does the one who shell hospitals and schools and kills children deserve to be a president?! – Our families, our brothers, our friends in Afrin city, our deep condolences to you and we wish speed recovery for the injured ”.

It is worth noting that the regime forces have destroyed tens of medical facilities in Syria, amid complete inaction by the international community.
