For unknown reasons | Turkish-backed factions arrest civilian and woman from Tel Abyad city

Raqqa province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish-backed factions arrested yesterday a civilian and a woman from the town of Hammam al-Turkman in the city of Tel Abyad, north of al-Raqqah in “Peace Spring” area, but the reasons behind this arrest remained unknown.

On Saturday, reliable sources in Ras al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye), in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions, informed the Syrian Observatory that an armed fight erupted between military groups of Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah and the military police, as the conflicting parties used heavy machineguns in residential neighbourhoods a day earlier. According to SOHR, the armed fight erupted after disagreement between the two sides over smuggling people to Turkish territory, but no further details were reported.
