Renewed bombardment | Regime forces renew shelling on villages in Idlib countryside, while Russian warplanes fly over “de-escalation zone”

SOHR activists have reported that regime forces renewed heavy artillery fire on the countryside of Idlib, where the suburbs of Kansafara and al-Fateera towns in the southern countryside of Idlib came under sporadic shelling from regime positions in the countryside of Idlib, but no information about casualties till now.

 

On the other hand, several Russian warplanes were seen flying over the “de-escalation zone” without targeting any positions .

 

Earlier today, SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” reported renewed bombardment this morning by regime forces and Russian-backed militias, which targeted al-Bara, Kansafra, Fulayfel and Maarzaf in the southern countryside of Idlib. The bombardment on Maarzaf hit a house, killing a man and injuring others.

 

Moreover, positions in al-Ankawi village in Sahl al-Ghab in north-western Hama came under rocket fire by regime forces, but no casualties have been reported.
