Protesting difficulty of final exams | High school students stage vigil in Aleppo countryside

SOHR activists have reported that tens of high school students arranged a vigil against the Education Ministry of the Syrian Interim Government, protesting the difficulty of math final exam, where students gathered in front of the ministry’s headquarters in the Free Aleppo University in Azaz city.

The students raised placards with slogans written on them, expressing their frustration and anger (or discontent // resentment) some of which read “we had a dream, but you destroyed it – We have the right to re-exam Math – Your failure destroys us – Treat me as a student not as a professor – Is this an exam or a punishment?! – A whole year’s effort wastes, it is unfair – you are a failure ministry – where is justice?! – We will never forget the student Ahmed al-Rahil”.

It is worth noting that the number of students, males and females, who took the exam has approximated 40,000 in 308 centres in Idlib and Aleppo countryside. It is worth noting that no countries or governments outside the areas controlled by opposition factions acknowledge the certifications granted by this university.
