Aleppo | Turkish forces shell Kurdish-held areas in northern countryside

SOHR sources have reported rocket fire by Turkish forces in the early hours of Saturday morning, which targeted Kurdish-held area in Mar’naz, Tel Rifaat and other areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

On June 13, SOHR sources reported that several shells fired by Turkish forces this afternoon hit positions in Tel Rifaat city, which is under the control of Kurdish and regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo and hosts a Russian military base. However, no casualties were reported. The Turkish bombardment coincided with the flight of Turkish drones over the region.

 

A day earlier, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces continued their intensive bombardment on the Kurdish-held areas in the northern and north-western countryside of Aleppo. Since sunset, Turkish forces launched over 180 rockets and artillery shells on Ain Daqna, Tel Ajjar , Deir Jamal road , Kafr Naya suburbs, Kafr Antwan, Tatmarsh, Abynand, Aqbiya, the vicinity of Tel Refaat , Sadd al-Shahbaa, and several other sites in Kurdish-controlled areas, which resulted in martial damage and injured a child in Aqbiya.
