Renewed bombardment | Turkish and Kurdish forces trade rocket fire in north and east Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported intensive rocket fire by Turkish forces on the Kurdish-held villages of al-Sha’allah, Tel Zawyan and Tel Enab in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Meanwhile, Kurdish forces shelled the perimeter of the Turkish base in Hazawan frontline in the countryside of al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning rocket fire by Turkish forces in the early hours of Saturday morning, which targeted Kurdish-held area in Mar’naz, Tel Rifaat and other areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.

 

On June 13, SOHR sources reported that several shells fired by Turkish forces this afternoon hit positions in Tel Rifaat city, which is under the control of Kurdish and regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo and hosts a Russian military base. However, no casualties were reported. The Turkish bombardment coincided with the flight of Turkish drones over the region.
